How We Work
Working with a wireless provider should not feel like a leap of faith. At Made By WiFi, we believe the way we work is as important as the work itself, and that the experience of being a client should be as reliable and transparent as the networks we build. This page is a straightforward account of what you can expect when you work with us: how we communicate, how we operate, and how we show up when the stakes are highest.
Transparent From the First Conversation
We do not take on every project we are approached about. If a project is outside the scope of what our team does best, we will say so, clearly and early, before either side invests time and resources. That might seem like an unusual thing to lead with, but we think it is the most honest way to start a relationship. It means that when we do take on a project, you can trust that we have the capability and the confidence to deliver it properly.
We give realistic timelines based on what we know about the project, not the estimate we think you want to hear. For a small office installation, that is typically one to two days for the physical work and another day for configuration. For larger or more complex environments, it is usually one to two weeks. For events, timing depends on the venue, the scale, and the production setup, and we will always tell you exactly what we need and when.
On budget, we work with our clients, not against them. Reliability does not have to mean the most expensive option. Our goal is a solution that performs well, fits the brief, and makes sense financially. If a constraint affects the design, we tell you, and we find the most effective path forward rather than presenting it as a problem we cannot solve.
A Process You Can Count On
Every project we deliver follows a clear methodology, and every client knows where they are in it at every stage. For enterprise solutions, the process moves from an initial conversation through a wireless site survey, network design, installation, configuration, and handover. For events, it moves from the planning conversation through venue assessment, network design, equipment and connection planning, on-site setup and testing, and live support throughout the event. Nothing is left to chance, and nothing is skipped.
When the project is complete, we do not leave you with a password and call it done. Clients receive complete documentation covering access point locations, names, login URLs, and account details, everything needed to operate and understand the network independently. Our reports are delivered in industry-standard format, which means they can be used by any provider if the client ever chooses to take a different direction. We believe that kind of transparency is what a good professional relationship looks like.
For clients who prefer not to manage the network themselves, a managed service agreement is available after installation, with ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and helpdesk access. Some of our managed service relationships have run for more than five years. That kind of continuity does not happen by accident; it happens when clients trust the team enough to keep them involved.
When It Matters Most
Made By WiFi was built in the event industry, an environment where there are no second chances and no opportunity to fix mistakes after the fact. That standard shapes everything we do, including our enterprise and managed service work. When we commit to a project, we commit to seeing it through properly, and that means being present, being responsive, and being adaptable when circumstances change.
For clients in New York and New Jersey, our team is on the ground for every managed deployment. We arrive ahead of schedule, verify every element of the network before it goes live, and stay available throughout. For events, that means on-site presence from setup through to breakdown. For installations, it means a post-installation site walk to confirm coverage matches the design before handover. You are not left to discover problems after we have left.
We also move quickly when we need to. Projects change. Venues shift, timelines compress, circumstances that nobody planned for emerge. We adapt without using it as a reason to reduce the standard of the work. And when something urgent arises, an unexpected issue, a last-minute change, an emergency that cannot wait until Monday morning, we respond. We have resolved urgent situations for clients at times and in circumstances that most providers simply would not be available for. That availability is not an exception for us; it is part of how we operate.
